Leicester City Midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has expressed excitement with his return to football activities again as he joined the rest of the squad for pre-season.
Ndidi missed the run up to the end of last season, after suffering a knee injury that needed minor surgery.
The Midfielder also missed Nigeria’s FIFA World Cup qualifying playoffs against Ghana and the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
However, the Midfielder returned to training last week and told the Club’s website he was happy to back ahead of the new season.
“But I just feel once the body gets used to it, it will be good,” Ndidi said.

“Yes of course I was away for just two weeks, I’ve been working my way back. It’s the first week of preseason and I’m trying to get used to the training back again.
“I think it’s really ideal for us to be here and get used to each other again.”
“Of course the training in pre -season is much harder than the season. You know this is just getting the body worked up and getting ready.
