Super Eagles Combative midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been named Leicester City’s Young Player of the Year award for the season for the second consecutive time.
Ndidi picked the Award at the club’s annual awards night on Tuesday night.
The former Genk player was also nominated for the Players’ Player of the Season along with Harry Maguire and James Vardy with Maguire going home with the award.
The trio were also contention for the player of the season award which was also won by Maguire.
Ndidi who has been a key figure for the former Champions this season has made 33 league appearances for the club with four assists to his name.
He joined Leicester City from Belgian outfit KRC Genk in January 2017 and has since built up himself as a vital individual from ‘The Foxes’ squad.
