Ndube okays Nigeria Premier League’s postponement because of Covid-19

Abia warriors coach Willy Ndube has described the decision to postpone the league by the League management Company as a very good decision in line with the directive from the ministry of Youths and Sports and more so in conformity to the other parts of the world where leagues have been postponed as well as a precautionary measure to manage the spread of the ravaging Corona virus global pandemic.

Ndube speaking in a chat with brila.net said the postponement was always going to be imminent especially after the Postponement of the national Sports Festival as well and feels all clubs should be okay with the decision as well.
“Actually the decision by the LMC and the NFF is in line with the instruction given from the ministry of Youths and sports. The national Sports festival has been postponed so if they postpone the league I think we don’t need to quarrel it. It’s very good decision for now because most leagues have been suspended because of the virus.”
