The Nigeria U17 MNT head coach Nduka Ugbade believes the team’s unique characteristics will guide them through the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.
Nigeria are considered one of the favorites at the U17 AFCON, but will face stiff competition from hosts country Algeria and Senegal.
Cameroon and South Africa are another side doing well and good enough to go all the way to the final.
Speaking ahead of their first game against Zambia, Nduka Ugbade spoke on why his side will be difficult to beat.
“We are a relentless team, a team that pursues every opponent till the end of the 90 minutes. We are unique in nature in the way we play,” the coach noted.
Ugbade added that Golden Eagles are not in Algeria for the qualification for the World Cup, but for the trophy.
“The other target, will be to clinch the title. “We are taking a match at a time and not rushing ahead of ourselves,” The 53-year old added.
