NEVER AGAIN! Sadiq reveals Super Eagles’ vow after World Cup disappointment

Forward Umar Sadiq said the Super Eagles will leave no stone upturned as they prepare for the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Sadiq said the team has put behind them the disappointment of missing out of the World Cup to Black Stars of Ghana.

The Super Eagles will kick start their 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign with a face-off against familiar foes Sierra Leone in Abuja on Thursday, 9 June.

“We are all getting ready for the game because after the World Cup qualifiers, we took a look at ourselves and told ourselves that we have to be back stronger,” Sadiq told NFF TV.

After the game against the Leone Stars, the three time African Champions will depart the country for Morocco, where they’ll take on Sao Tome and Principe in their second game.
