NFF celebrates Super Falcons striker Desire Oparanozie

Nigeria Football Federation has sent birthday wishes to former Super Falcons captain Desire Oparanozie who turns 27, Thursday.

Oparanozie was born on 17th of December 1993 in Owerri, capital city of Imo State.

 

The Nigerian football governing body however took to their handle to send their best wishes.

 

“Happy birthday @NGSuper_Falcons star forward and multiple Africa Women Nations Cup winner, @oparanozie9. We wish you all the best today and always 🎂🎂🎂🎂 ” NFF wrote on their Twitter handle.

 

Oparanozie represented Nigeria at every level, including at the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup where she scored two goals.

 

She has also featured in the FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments in 2011, 2015, and 2019.

 

She was part of the Nigerian squads of the African Women’s Championship of 2010 and 2014, 2016 and 2018 , winning all four tournaments. She scored crucial goals in both the 2014 and 2016 finals.
