President of the Nigeria football federation Amaju Melvin Pinnick has assured football lovers in the country that Nigerian will be on the FIFA council executive board.
Amaju in a chat with www.brila.net revealed that he is making consultations at the moment but confident that a Nigerian must be on the FIFA top council.
“When you said you consult, I have consulted and consulted he said, with my families, with my executive committees and I am still consulting and within the next ten days it will be clear but you should understand that it’s not about desperation but about rebuilding, revamping football in Africa, it might not be Amaju Pinnick going for the CAF presidency it might be Amaju Pinnick going for the FIFA council executive board seat but let me assure you, at the end of the election a Nigerian will be at the FIFA council,” he said.
