The Nigeria Football Federation has joined English clubs, Watford and Manchester United to celebrate former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has on his 31st birthday.
The Nigerian Football Governing Body took to their social media handle to send their congratulatory messages to the Manchester United forward.
Ighalo who is preparing for the premier league resumption with his club, clocks 31 today, Tuesday, June 16 2020 and a lot of messages from well-wishers have started rolling.
“Happy birthday to Afcon 2019 top scorer, @ighalojude. Keep soaring, keep shining, and have a good one. 🎂🎂🍾🍾🍾” the NFF wrote on their social media handle.
Ighalo represented Nigeria at the age-grade level to the senior national team where he earned 35 caps and scored 16 goals.
The former Watford striker was an Integral part of the Super Eagles squad that finished third at the last African cup of Nations in Egypt.
He retired from the national team duty immediately after the tournament, where he also emerged as the top scorer.
