NFF executive committee member Ibrahim Gusau has stated that the Nigeria Football Federation is on ground to observe the conduct of election into the Delta State Football Association later today and expects a hitch-free election into the State’s Football Association.
Gusau speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Nigeria Football Federation will not interfere with the conduct of the election after been duly notified of the election and that the FA Chairmen will welcome whoever emerges as the Chairman of the Delta State Football Association.
“Let the election take place (tomorrow) first, let them conclude the election first that’s the most important thing then whoever emerge as the Chairman will have no option than to join the FA Chairmen.
We are only there to just observe and not to be anything there. We are just going there to observe the election, they notified us of their election and then we sent somebody there as an observer that’s all.”
