NFF Presidential Aspirant Idah vows to fix Nigerian football

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peterside Idah says he’s determined to make tough changes, if elected President of Nigeria Football Federation.

Idah stated this in an exclusive interview with this Friday.

The NFF has fixed September 30, 2022, as the date for its Elective Congress and Idah is one of the many aspirants eyeing the top seat.

“It’s a good one and shows that we are on the right track.”

“Another emergency meeting will hold on 30th of August where all the guidelines will be released.

“We want to bring some changes here and there. One of the thing we lack over the years is discipline and we are not truthful to ourselves,” He told

“Look at our league, we didn’t qualify for the World Cup, why?

“These are the things we want to fix, and put the right people in the right place.

“Not just giving positions to friends and family, but to make sure they work, so that we can get the results that we need.”

Idah played for Rangers of Enugu and Enyimba.

He also featured for Tembisa Classic and Moroka Swallows in South Africa and made 15 appearances for the Super Eagles as a goalkeeper.
