Niger Tornadoes drop twelve players ahead of next NPFL season

NPFL outfit Niger Tornadoes has shown twelve players the exit door from the Club, the decision was made by the technical department of the Club with the backing management.

The management of Minna based team is restructuring the playing staff ahead of new Nigeria professional football league season which kick-off in December.

The affected players identify were not disclosed but have been informed they are free to play their football elsewhere next season.

Technical Adviser of the team Bernard Ogbe said the players were asked to leave the base on performance evaluation policy carried out on players by the Club.

“the release of this players was based on the last season performance due to the performance report that was submitted by the team technical department,” he said

“The club wishes the affected players success in their future endeavours” he concluded.

The 2017 Aiteo Cup finalist who has secured the signing of Aliyu Goyi from Kwara United, also announced there will be an open screening of players and only players recommended by the technical crew will be picked.
