Nigeria lost their final group game at the AfroBasket championship 77-83 against DR Congo and will finish second in group A.
DR Congo fought their way back in the contest from the third quarter to steal and run away with the two points on offer.

Ike Diogu scored 21 points to lead the board but his efforts proved to be inadequate.
It was the first meeting between the sides and the East Africans needed a win to cement their spot in the next round.
Nigeria next face the winner of Group C in the quarter final; which could be either Cameroon or Tunisia.
However, D’Tigers will have their eyes on the outcome of the last group game between Mali and Ivory Coast.
If the Malians pull a stunning win; with a massive margin to upset the current points difference, then they could knock D’Tigers off the second spot.
