The Coach of Central African Republic, Raoul Savouy says has blamed the referees for his side’s defeat against Nigeria on Sunday.
Raoul masterminded a shocking win over Nigeria in Lagos last Thursday , but he watched his team go down to more inspired Super Eagles in Douala.
First half goals from Leon Balogun and Victor Osimhen gave the Super Eagles 2-0 win over the Les Fauves in the reverse fixture of the 2022 World Cup qualifier.
“Nigeria played with 12 men because the referee helped them to win,” the Swiss tactician told the press.
“The first goal was from an offside position, and my goalkeeper was fouled for the second goal.
“We did not concede against Nigeria over the two legs; they scored with the help of the referee.”
While The Super Eagles remain top of the Group with nine points, Savouy’s men remain third in Group C, five points behind leaders Nigeria.
