National team Table Tennis Coach, Ajayi Olubode has revealed that preparations are in top gear ahead of the NSDF 2019 ITTF World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Thailand after missing the ITTF Junior Circuit Egypt Junior & Cadet Open in Egypt due to Visa challenges.
Coach Olubode said the team of four female and male table tennis players of Azeez Solanke, Taiwo, Ayowale Jamiu, Emmanuel, Vivian, Rufiat and others who have been training for over a month are good enough to win a medal and believes failing to attend the championship in Egypt will not have an adverse effect on our performance in Thailand.
He further added that though the team is yet to resume camp, plans are in place to see that they attend the tournament and the target is to win as many medals as possible.
