Nigeria Under 21 Male Handball Team Arrive Spain for Championship

Nigeria’s U21 junior male team departed for Spain on Monday morning where they will participate in the World Junior Handball Championship.

The handball competition which runs from the 16th to the 28th of July will see 24 participating nations compete for the prized trophy.
Spain who are the hosts and the defending champions will look to continue inspire a form which led to them claiming the title at the last tournament hosted by Algeria in 2017.
Nigeria U21 will begin their campaign later today against 2017 bronze medalists and fellow Group B opponents, France. Other Group B teams include Egypt, Korea, Australia and Sweden.
They will play Egypt on the 17th before taking on Korea on the 19th and then Australia on the next day. Their final group stage match will be against Sweden on July 22nd.
