Former Nigeria national team’s Goalkeeper Coach and player, Ike Shorunmu has backed Daniel Akpeyi to replicate his brillant club performance and prove doubters wrong following sidetalks from fans over his choice as the possible Number 1 for the Super Eagles opening 2021 Afcon qualifier group game against Benin Republic.

Ike shorunmu also added that the search for the permanent Number 1 in the Super Eagles will take sometime as it is a process but believes we will eventually get it right.
