Nigeria vs Lesotho: Notsi Beef up Squad for Super Eagles

Lesotho’s head coach, Leslie Notsi is set to rejig his team ahead of the opening FIFA World Cup qualification fixture against Nigeria.

Notsi says it’s important his side start the campaign on good note — and the need to bring back some experience players.

 

 

The Crocodiles will face the Super Eagles in their opening match at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, on November 16, before hosting against Benin Republic five days later.

According to a statement on the official Facebook page of the Lesotho Football Federation, there will be exciting new additions to the final squad, including players who have not represented Likuena in the last two years.

“Exciting additions to the final squad will be revealed in the next few days,” reads a statement on the official Facebook page of the Lesotho Football Federation.

“Players that have not featured for Likuena in the last two-years.”

Lesotho is one of the lowly rated team in Africans are to featured at the biggest football fiesta, the FIFA World Cup.

Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Benin Republic are their other opponents in the qualifiers.
