Manchester City completed the double over Chelsea in the Premier League with the champions elect defeating the current holders 1-0 thanks to a second half goal from Bernardo Silva at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The first meeting between the sides also ended 1-0 in favour of the Cityzens – that time it was courtesy a wonderful strike off the boot of Kevin DeBruyne.
On Sunday, City made the effort as Chelsea sat back hoping to contain and catch their superior opponents on the break.
Nigeria International, Victor Moses had a busy game wading off the might of Pep’s wing-men.
Moses has continued to improve his defensive game, but it was a sore outing for the Blues.
Earlier in the day, Alex Iwobi marched out with his Arsenal teammates against Brighton but the Gunners were shocked 2-1 by the home side.
The 21-year-old played an above par 74 minutes in Arsenal’s defeat before he was replaced.
