Nigeria defender Kalu Orji is edging closer to joining Belgian side Sporting Charleroi, according to reports.
Kalu only joined Nigeria Professional Football League side Rivers United last season after the expiration of his contract with Morrocan outfit Mouloudia.
Belgian Tabloid Tirodnews reported that Charleroi are in talks with the representatives of the player over the possibility of joining the club.
The reports also revealed that talks has reached advance stage and the deal is just few details away from been concluded.
Kalu orji has represented the home based Super Eagles and he was a champion of Nigeria professional footballer league with Rangers international in 2016.
He also played for seventh time Nigeria Professional Football League champions Kano Pillars.
