Nasarawa United head Coach Bala Nikyu wasn’t happy with some players after the team’s goalless draw against Sunshine Stars in Akure on Monday.
Nikyu believes some players have had a “complete change of mentality” after the victory over Lobi Stars in previous and failed to live up to expectations.
The Coach was seen screaming and kicking bottles on the touchline whenever his players missed a chance or misplaced passes.
“Sometimes reactions like that means that some particular player are not doing well, yes its a team game but when some players aren’t doing their job, it can trigger anger,” He said in his post match interview.
Nikyu was happy to see his side pick a point though, but says he is quickly turning his attention to the next game against Dakkada FC.
“It’s a precious point for us, a draw away from home is always a good result in this league and we appreciate it .” He said.
The point moved Nasarawa United to fourth spot on the NPFL table with 24 points, four points adrift Kwara United and Rangers of Enugu.
