Bala Nikyu says he was surprised to named the new coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Nasarawa United and has promised to guide the team to a continental place.
Former Nigeria’s U-17 Women National Team coach will be the solid miners’ second manager in six years after the departure of Kabir Dogo at the end of last season.
While speaking to the media, Nikyu said he’s optimistic the team will secure a continental ticket at the end of the 2018/2019 season.
” I know the solid miners are solid in the terms of players and management. All we need is to work hard and take our advantages whenever it comes. Secondly, I am not new in club football.
I have the experience and know how to motivate my players to give their all for good result,” said Nikyu
