Executive committee member of the Nigeria Football Federation and Chairman of the Nigeria Nationwide League NLO Mohammed Alkali has stated that the NLO commencement is on course for a February kickoff although expressed that the mandated date of 10th February may not be feasible.
Alkali speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the NLO will start shortly after the NNL which will start this coming weekend and that the NLO through the NFF will begin it clinic for NLO coaches today which will run till February after which the NLO congress will meet and pick a date towards the end of February 2021.
“We are given a mandate of starting on the 10th of February, we are working towards that buy recently there was a clinic approved by the NFF for NLO coaches and we are looking at finishing this clinic and then proceed to congress. Time will not allow us to start on the 10th of February so we are looking at starting by the end of February.”
