Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman said he’s not setting a target for himself and just taking each game as it comes.
The former Everton and RB Leipzig player netted the only goal of the game as Atalanta pipped Fiorentina on Sunday in a Serie A match.
The 24-year-old was delighted netting his maiden home goal for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side, adding that he’s just focusing on helping the team.
“It was a beautiful win, a great performance and we believed in it until the end. I’m happy for my first goal in front of our fans, I’ve been waiting for it for a long time.
“I just want to see from match to match where we can go, I haven’t set myself any goals, I want to get as far as possible with Atalanta,” He said.
The Nigerian has now contributed two goals and one assist in eight league games for the Bergamo landlords.
Following the victory over Fiorentina, Atalanta remain unbeaten this season, winning six and drawing two of their opening eight games.
Lookman and his mates will next face Udinese in the Serie A.
