NNL Chairman of Chairmen, Abdul Sule, has confirmed that the Nigerian National League 2019/2020 season has been canceled.
”There is nothing like Shooting Stars or Kada city stars gaining promotion, he told brila.net in an interview.
”We had meetings yesterday and that decision was made, we also had input from the NFF.
”The majority voted for the cancelation of the league and that’s the way it is for now in NNL.”
Sule also stated that the league has informed NFF of their intention to have a strong board managing the Nigerian National League.
“But again we have other things to tell the NFF like in our resolutions from last week, we want to have a very strong board, very strong sponsors.
