No Putellas, No Problemo! Asisat “Agba Baller” Oshoala is Here

Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala, dazzled for Barcelona Femeni in their 9-0 drubbing of Benfica Women on their opening game in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Oshoala grabbed headlines, and has in fact, been trending for the right reasons, after ranking 16th in the women Ballon d’or top 20 for the year in review.

On Wednesday, she grabbed two goals and laid on two assists to make sure the Benfica ladies understood the gulf in difference between both sides.

Barcelona Femeni were without Ballon d’or winner Alexia Putellas, but it mattered little, as they saw out Benfica in a dominant fashion.

Guijarro Gutierrez, Bonmati, Caldentey Oliver, Crnogorcevic and Pina, all scored in the rout with Oshoala scoring in the 34th and the 84th minute.
