Inter Milan have confirmed the arrival of Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen on a four-and-a-half-year deal running until the summer of 2024.
Antonio Conte’s side have been pursuing Eriksen’s signature all month and have finally got a deal over the line for a reported €20m (£16.8m) fee.
Eriksen had entered the final six months of his Tottenham contract and made it clear he would not renew with Jose Mourinho’s side.
Christian Eriksen’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur’s was due to expire at the end of June 2020 but the Nerazzurri wanted to add him to the fold for the second half of the season and so they negotiated a deal with Spurs for this month.
Christian Eriksen joined Tottenham from Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax ahead of the 2013/2014 season for a reported fee between £11 million and has since then featured 303 times across all competitions scoring 69 goals in the process.
