Coach of NPFL side Heartland FC Fidelis Ilechukwu has stated that the many away wins recorded in the NPFL is a strong indication of an improved league and one that changes mindset on the way the league is been perceived.
Ilechukwu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said after his side recorded her second away win of the season in a 2-0 win in Aba against Enyimba that the league is now a different entity and managers have a different view now that anything can happen anywhere irrespective of where a game is been played.
“It’s very good for the league, it’s very important, LMC has done so much and that’s the only way we can improve in the league.
“My first home game against MFM FC we lost at home and it shows that the league is better than before and we thank God for that.”
