NPFL Invitational 2017: CHAN Eagles pip Enyimba, through to Finals

The CHAN Eagles won their first game of the NPFL Invitational 2017 courtesy a second half strike from Sunday Faleye against Enyimba.

Faleye struck on 55 minutes in the somewhat cagey game on Friday Afternoon at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

The Eagles topped Group A with four points ahead of NPFL champions Plateau United with Enyimba bottom with a single point from two matches.

Whilst the team are through to the final, Salisu Yusuf will be moving his camp base to Abuja after the invitational.

Media Officer Toyin Ibitoye confirmed the team will move from Kano to Abuja after their last match.

The Players will also be allowed to go on Christmas break before they commence the final phase of preparation for the African Nations Championship 2018.
