Rivers united forward Waheed Adebayo has stated that he is very excited with the return of the NPFL after his side got their campaign underway with a positive start to life following Wednesday’s 1-1 draw away to Niger Tornadoes.
The Former MFM FC of Lagos forward described the result as a moral booster to the club and highlighted the commencement of the league season as one that will benefit the careers of league professionals after been off the game for a long time.
Adebayo in a chat with www.brila.net said now that they are back playing, the players are back once again under the radar and have something with which they can market themselves while stating clearly his desire to leave the shores of the country for greener pasture abroad.
