Nsofor questions 2005 U20 world cup omission despite impressive build up

Former Chievo Verona and Nigeria international Victor Obinna Nsofor has questioned his omission from the 2005 FIFA U20 world cup in Holland.

Nsofor is still confused 15 years after and stressed that he is still at a shock as to why he was dropped from the coach Samson Siasia tutored U20 national team despite being the best in the pre U20 world cup games in Holland where he was scouted by a representative from Serie A club giant Inter Milan.
Nsofor speaking in a no holds barred session with  www.brila.net said he still hasn’t found an answer to his omission from the team despite the few success he went on to record in the Serie A where he eventually signed for Inter Milan and also flourished under same coach Samson Siasia at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games heping Nigeria win a Silver medal and also played for Siasia again at the Super Eagles.
“It was an amazing tournament that actually kickstart the Obinna Nsofor that everyone knows today but it was quite unfortunate that during the world cup in Holland I was dropped.
If you have to chose one player, the first person on that list, my name was supposed to be the first person because in our preparatory games I was the best and that was how a scout of Inter Milan scouted me.”
