Former Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has been named Alcorcon’s Player of the Month for the month of April.
The former Nigerian youth international clinch the award after netting three goals in four matches for the club in the Spanish Segunda Division in April.
The former Arsenal midfielder scored against, Castellon and Lugo, before getting on the scoresheet in the home defeat to Leganes.
Nwakali, who only moved to Alcorcon at the end of January 2021 on loan from Huesca was presented with the award on Wednesday.
“Our player of the month, Kelechi Nwakali already has his trophy for the month of April, thank you Potters for your participation,” the club wrote on Twitter
Nwakali who was on parade for in Monday’s away win over Albacete has scored four goals in 15 appearances for Alcorcon this season.
The 22-year-old joined Alcorcon on loan from LaLiga outfit CD Huesca.
