UD Huesca of Spain midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali is the first Nigeria foreign U23 player to storm the camp in Abuja.
Brila.net can confirm that Nwakali who arrived Abuja on Wednesday night from Spain has trained with the team on Thursday morning and will also be a part of the evening session.
The U23 AFCON competition is an Olympic qualifier that will see three teams triumph to represent Africa at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in Japan.
The Olympic Eagles are in group B alongside Cote d’Ivoire, Namibia and South Africa and the competition is scheduled to start on the 8th of November next month.
