Nigerian midfielder, U23 vice-captain, and FC Porto II player, Kelechi Nwakali has revealed that the love shown to him by both the technical crew as well as his teammates has helped him to settle down well with the club.
Nwakali has so far recorded 16 appearances this season for the second tier side in Portugal.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Nwakali explained that the love from the team has helped him, even as he continues to eye more improvement in his playing career.
“First of all I must commend the team so much because when you come to a team where everybody likes you, sees you as their friend, it’s going to be easy for you to do well”
” Since I came into this place, both the players and officials, they showed me so much love and helped me to settle down, so there is love in the team and it has really helped me a lot”, he concluded.
Nwakali is also hoping to be a part of the Eagles team to represent Nigeria at the forthcoming AFCON later this year in Egypt.
