Kano Pillars forward Nyima Nwangwa has stated that his side is not relenting in working hard to ensure a positive end to the season and have resolved to at least pick a continental ticket to appease fans.
Nwangwa speaking in a telephone chat with www.brila.net said the continental ticket is still a very open possibility for them and more easily realizable which they will ensure gets picked to gets the club back to playing continental football.
“We are actually working hard to get a continental ticket and I can’t say it’s not open for us and we’re believing strongly that we will get there because that’s the only way we can match our record of playing continental football.
We’re like this now and we’re hoping to get a continental ticket for them.”
Kano Pillars sit 4th in the group B table of the NPFL just a place behind the final qualification spot for playoffs and would hope to return to winning ways after losing their last game 2-1 away to Heartland.
