Nyima Nwagua was in action for Kano Pillars as they laboured to a 1-0 win over Nasarawa United on Wednesday.
The energetic forward who played the entire minutes of the game at the Sano Abacha stadium in Kano saluted his team’s efforts and urged them to keep the momentum going.
Midfielder Auwalu Ali Mallam scored the winning goal for the Sai Masu Gida five minutes before half hour mark.
Nwagua said after the game : “A very important performance and three points for us, we need to continue working to achieve more results ”
The slim victory moves Pillars to first position on the NPFL table, they are three points above second-placed Akwa United, although awin for the Promise Keepers against Abia Warriors this evening willthem level with Pillars .
