Odion Ighalo already looking forward to Qatar 2022

Odion Ighalo said the Super Eagles have to take advantage of playing at home and dispatch Ghana on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles will engage the Black Stars at the Moshood Abiola Stadium for the second leg of the final phase of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

A win for the Super Eagles will guarantee them a place in the Qatar 2022 and he’s confident the players will give more than 100 percent to achieve their objectives.

“It’s a home advantage for us, but it’s going to be a difficult game. Ghana are going to come all out here because they have nothing to lose. We are playing at home. We just have to give our best.

“110% on Tuesday. Take our chances, fight from the start to the finish. It’s going to be a tough one, but we’ll win by God’s Grace.” he said.

The veteran forward who was part of the 2018 World Cup squad, believes have what it takes to qualify for the World Cup.

“I try to talk to the younger guys that have not been there [at the World Cup] before that this is an opportunity for us to go to Qatar 2022 because you won’t know how it feels now. It’s after your football career you’ll understand what it means to play in the World Cup.

“I’ve been there before, I know what it is and I’m looking forward to being at another one,” Ighalo said.
