Ademola Lookman enjoyed a perfect start to his Atalanta career, as he found the back of the net in Saturday’s league game against Sampdoria.
The striker, who recently completed his transfer to the Bergamo side, came off the bench to score the winner for Atalanta at the death.
Atalanta led in the first half through Rafael Tolói’s goal, but second goal wasn’t forthcoming and coach Pierre Gasperini decided to change his team’s set up.
He then introduced Lookman to the game and substituted Colombian forward Luis Fernando Muriel.
Lookman however justified the decision as he netted the second goal with the last kick of the game.
The goal was assisted by his fellow substitute Ruslan Malinovskyi.
Atalanta left the Stade Luigi Farraris with the three points and a clean sheet.
