Coach of Nigeria National League side Insurance FC Benard Ogbe has stated that he can’t wait for the NNL to get underway but would like an effects enjoyed by the NPFL where the sports Minister intervened and mandated the league to start at the topflight with the Nigeria National League kickoff becoming an issue after the latest adjustment in date.
Ogbe speaking in a chat with brila.net said there has been a lot of inconsistencies y Nigerian league Football which has been frustrating and tough on everyone involved. He added that he wouldn’t mind having such fresh mandate as enjoyed by the NPFL to also happen at the NNL so that the season can kickoff in reality.
“We have a lot of inconsistencies in our Football you know what have been happening behind the season shows how concerned the minister is and by virtue of his office he is supposed to overseer sports. So probably if he is putting pressure on the NFF to start the league that will go a long way to help ensure that our Administrators do the right thing.”
