Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is gradually working his way back to full fitness, according to his Club Watford.
The midfielder has been sidelined since September after rupturing his thigh muscle in Watford’s draw against Newcastle United.
The former Besiktas and Las Palmas midfield powerhouse is expected to be out of action for at least six months, a result from the test revealed.
However, the club took to the club’s website on Friday to provide updates on the player.
The short statement reads:” Long-term absentee Peter Etebo (quad) is working hard at his rehab and continues to make good progress.“
Etebo joined the Hornets on a season-long loan from Stoke City and featured in seven matches in all competitions, before the injury.
He has since missed five games for Watford and two for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
