Ogunbote agrees deal to replace Dogo as Sunshine Stars head coach

Former Lobi Stars boss Gbenga Ogunbote has agreed on terms to become Head Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Sunshine Stars ahead of the coming season.

 

Reports revealed that Ogunbote is on the verge of signing a two year deal with the Owena Whales, that will see him replace Kabir Dogo who is set to depart from the team after just a season.

 

Ogunbote left  Lobi Stars at the end of his twelve months contract with the club and now few details away from returning to the club qualified for two CAF Cup semifinals.

 

The former Rangers international of Enugu handler held a meeting with the top officials of Ondo State Football Agency ODSFA and the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports in the state and has now agreed to accept the offer.

 

Gbenga Ogunbote who won the 2018 Aiteo Cup with Rangers international, could be officially presented in a press conference in few days.

 

Ogunbote has now managed Enyimba Int’l FC, Rangers Int’l FC, Shooting Stars, Kwara United, Gateway United, Giwa FC, and Sharks FC.
