Sunshine Stars coach Gbenga Ogunbote was unhappy with the officiating in Monday’s game against Nasarawa United.
The game which ended goalless at the Ondo state sports complex stretched Sunshine Stars winless run to eight matches in the league.
Ogunbote was furious with the decision not to award a penalty to his side after midfielder Stephen Begbaji was hacked down in the box late in the game.
“Eight games without a win is really unfortunate. You will do your best, but along the line, other challenges creep in. But we will get better as we advance in the league.
“As an independent body, I challenge you (media), you can speak for the world on what you have seen here in terms of officiating,” Ogunbote said.
The home draw means Sunshine Stars have picked just 18 points from 15 matches played this season.
