Coach Gbenga Ogunbote has left Nigeria Professional Football League side Remo Stars, according to reports.
Ogunbote surprisingly joined the Club at the beginning of the 2021-2022 campaign following the departure of Daniel Ogunmodede, who guided the Sky Blues to the topflight division after three years in the Nigeria National League.
The experienced gaffer was mandated to keep the Ikenne-based team in the league. He did not only achieve the target, but he also guided the team to third place, which comes with a continental ticket.
However, He will now be replaced by his predecessor Coach Daniel Ogunbodede who recently returned to the country, after a year in Portugal.
The former Enyimba and Rangers International manager is now expected to sign for Shooting Stars of Ibadan, who themselves are working on the dismissal of current boss Edith Agoye.
