Lobi Stars FC Coach Gbenga Ogunbote has revealed a major reason the League Management company is doing everything to conclude the current season.
In a chat with brila.net, Ogunbote stated that the LMC is doing all they can in order to get the best representation for the country in next season’s CAF competitions.
“If you have to look at it from another angle about finishing the league, talking about super four, six, eight or ten then, you are looking at the last eight to determine which team’s goes on relegation, but that is not in place all they are looking for is for us to have representation in next season’s continental competitions.” He said.
The sports ministry and the Nigeria Football Federation will be meeting today to finalize the resumption date of the league following reports from the federal government to lift the interstate ban from June 21st.
