Following the defeat to Remo Stars in Ikenne, Gbenga Ogunbote insists Shooting Stars players needs a change of mentality.
Ogunbote and his boys lost 2-0 to Remo Stars in NPFL southwest derby on Wednesday in Ikenne.
Shooting Stars have been far from their pre season best so far, drawing two games before losing to Remo Stars.
The 3SC Coach said after the game in Ikenne that, his players have to improve mentally, If they are to achieve their aims this season.
“We have to do better than we did today (Wednesday) if we must achieve our aims this season,” Ogunbote said.
“Maybe in the next couple of hours, we will realise we are not in a good position. We are in a good process, but at this moment I am annoyed. I also told the players if we want to win, we have to change our mentality.”
The result means 3SC are ninth in the 10-club NPFL standings, after recording two draws and a defeat.
Shooting Stars will next host El-Kanemi Warriors at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Sunday.
