The Super Eagles should get a quarter-final target at the 2018 FIFA World Cup according to NFF Players Status Committee member Taiwo Ogunjobi.
Nigeria will make its sixth world cup appearance in Russia but have not progressed beyond the second round at the tournament.
With the team currently on a high following qualifying from the “group of death” with a game to spare and wrapping up 2017 with a 4-2 win against Argentina, Ogunjobi believes setting a target won’t hurt the team.
In a chat with Chidozie Okorojie [Brila FM] the former NFF scribe argues that the Eagles are on a progressive path but, require adequate preparation “as a key factor towards achieving their set objective.”
