Ogunmodede sets agenda for NNL leadership

Coordinator of Nigeria National League side Remo stars Daniel Ogunmodede has called on the leadership of the nation’s second-tier league to be alive to key areas that will ensure the standardization and smooth flow of the NNL.

Ogunmodede speaking in a chat with  www.brila.net tasked the leadership of the NNL to work on coaches education in order to help regularise the standard of coaching which ultimately impacts the players who in turn help raise the standard of the league.
He also added that officiating and security at match venues will be very important and that they should do that in close standard with what is obtainable in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
“The most important leagues are the lower divisions, So I urge the NNL to concentrate on working on coaching education. They need to take care of coaching education, you can’t give what you don’t have. So there is a need for quality coaching education so that coaches in the NNL can know what to give to the players and know what the players expect in the top level. In the country, we overlook other divisions and we only concentrate on the NPFL which is not supposed to be.”
