Coordinator of Nigeria National League side Daniel Ogunmodede has suggested that the NNL need not bother about anything else other than how to come back stronger when football is allowed to return and that the focus should be on a fresh start for a new campaign.
Ogunmodede speaking in a chat with brila.net said there is nothing else to fight for and that the NNL should take it in good fate no matter how painful once the NPFL already voted with a large majority in favour of no promotion no relegation adoption.
“Of what use is it if the first division of the country says there is no promotion, there is no relegation so what are we actually battling for?
“We should think of starting again, unfortunately, it will make some people unhappy maybe because of their mission but for me, we should not be too much in a haste to defeat the focus of the future.”
