Sunshine Stars midfielder Ogunniyi “Omojesu” Timileyin is very close to joining Latvian side, Spartaks Jurmala.
Reports claimed the mercurial midfielder will sign a five year deal with the club and negotiation is ongoing between the two clubs and his representatives.
Ogunniyi has been linked with a move away from the Owena Waves last transfer window, but the club fought off all Interest to hold on to him.
He has been involved in two Nigeria professional football league matches for Sunshine Stars this season and scored in his last match to give the Akure Gunners a 1-0 win over FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
His transfer away from the Akure-based club could be made official in matter of days.
