Ohale targets Champions League ticket with AS Roma

Super Falcons defender Osinachi Ohale has set her sight on helping her team, AS Roma qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL).

Osinachi Ohale joined Roma after ending her adventure with Spanish Iberdrola outfit Real Madrid last week.

Ohale who is still relishing the move to Italy said, teaming up with the Italian side is one of the easiest decisions of her career.

The experienced defender said one of her targets is to help the team qualify for the UEFA Women’s champions league next season.

“So I felt like it would be a great thing for me, to explore and to experience new things and a new challenge.”

“And I also want to [qualify to] play in the Champions League, because I have never played in the Champions League before,” she said to the club’s website.

The arrival of Ohale will surely help bolster Betty Bavagnoli’s defense when the campaign kick-off in the coming weeks.

Ohale is one of the most experienced players at the moment, haven played in Sweden, the United States, and Spain.

At the international level, she has won four African Women’s Cup of Nations titles and played at three Fifa Women’s World Cups with Nigeria.
