Enyimba FC defender Stanley Okorom has stated that the People’s Elephant won’t have any problem navigating their way through the opening rounds of the CAF champions league after been drawn against Burkina Faso side Rahimo FC in the first round of the competition.
Okorom speaking in a chat with www.brila.netsaid Enyimba has shown over time how strong they are when it comes to playing the opening rounds stating clearly that competition for Enyimba starts from the group stage and not the opening rounds where they have so far distinguished themselves severally.
“Any time the talk of these CAF champions league qualifying ties Enyimba always come out tops. We always do well in any thing about CAF champions league or even the CAF Confederation cup.
These continental competition Enyimba even go as far as going beyond the group stage. So I believe this time around, we are going to even make it to the final. I am not even thinking about the qualifiers, I am thinking of the final.”
